We all know that traveling is one of the beautiful adventurous thing everyone will like and we all know India is one the very beautiful country with great geographical location india is having every type of weather we can see in any time of the year. if you go south you can feel summer if you go north you can feel winter if you go northeast you can feel rainy season.
India is having great dimension which cover all the weather you don't have to go outside the county to feel chilled cold or hot humid summer.
so for exploring this i decided to visit the Gangtok and Darjeeling one of the India best tourism hill station where you can do adventure and feel the beautiful environment with clean and beautiful weather.
A well-known Gangtok is amid the high peaks of the Himalayas. Set at an
elevation of around 16000 feet, this place allures tourists from all
over the world to explore its untouched beauty and weather. Lakes,
gardens, monasteries, Gangtok has something for every tourist. Gangtok
experiences pleasant weather all throughout the year, this is why,
people come here to enjoy some time amid natural beauty all through the
year.
we reached after travelling 16 hrs from kolkata first day passed, check-in to the OYO room hotel and had a lunch and then went for sightseeing at major tourist attractions of Gangtok like Stupa is one of the most important in Sikkim. These stupa features intricate architecture which leaves every visitor mesmerized.
Set on a scenic hill above Gangtok, Enchey Monastery is one of the major attractions of Gangtok. It is believed that the monastery belongs to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. The location where the monastery is located is believed to be blessed by Lama Drupthob Karpo, who was an expert in tantric art of Buddhism. Enchey Monastery is beautifully decorated and features alluring images of the deities Buddha, Loki Sharia, and Guru Padmasambhava.
One can find a number of masks in the monastery which are used during the annual religious dances. Do visit other attractions like Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, White Hall and Flower Show. Later, return back to the hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Stayed overnight at the hotel.
After overnight at Lachung, and start early next morning. Yumthang valleywhich
is about 25kms from Lachung located at an altitude of 11,800ft and
takes about 1.5 hours of drive.
The name Yumthang Valley means 'Valley of Flowers'. Nearby there are couple of rivers - Yumthang chu and Puniya chu where you can do fishing if you have time.

But for that you need to plan a
longer stay at Lachung. About 7kms further north of the hot spring,
there is a Shiva Temple. About 23kms from Yumthang at an altitude of over 15,000 ft is the place Zero Point
(also known as Yume Samdong). It takes another 1.5 hours from Yumthang
by vehicle (about 3 to 3.5 hours from Lachung).
This is where the civilian road ends and you can't drive any further and hence the name Zero Point. A short distance away from here is the border with China and tourists are not allowed to go any further beyond the Zero Point.we explored this area enjoyed there for some time took lots of picture played in snow and enjoyed climate then after we started back our journey.

we planed our visit to Lachung and onward to Yumthang valley and
Zero Point from Gangtok. It requires an overnight stay at Lachung before
you can return to Gangtok next day .
3rd day we started for lachung from Gangtok, after 66kms drive we reached the small township if
Mangan, and then Chungthang which is only 22kms before Lachung and is
the nearest town. Along the way the river Teesta was by your side
and we saw number of waterfalls and mountain springs.
